The K is silent, get it?
My working style is purposeful, empathetic, and creative. I am committed to helping you get the most out of your physical and digital storage, and uncover new efficientcies so your home or work are relaxing and inspiring. I know that a clear space makes for a clear mind. The opposite is true: a visually cluttered space can make it hard to truly relax or be productive.
I've worked in professional theatre for 15 years in Vancouver and Calgary as a dramaturg, communications manager, producer, grant writer/fundraiser, and program manager. I am based in the Surrey, BC and currently serving the Lower Mainland, Metro Vancouver, and the Sunshine Coast.
After receiving a bacholer of arts degree from the University of the Fraser Valley in English Literature and Theatre, I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre Studies from the University of British Columbia.
I am an arts administrator and dramaturg with 15 years experience, and that's how I discovered my love of structure. I enjoy the process of wading through the way a story is told or presented-- the stories of your home, your family, or your company and the way you want to interact with them.
I have worked with companies in Vancouver and Calgary such as Alberta Playwrights' Network, Boca del Lupo, Pumphouse Theatre, Pi Theatre, New Works Performance Society, African Friendship Society, Handsome Alice Theatre, Sage Theatre, Fairy Tales Film Festival, Calgary Opera, Theatre BSMT, Evergreen Theatre, Vancouver International Children's Festival, and more.
I am currently serving as the Board President of the Playwrights Guild of Canada and as Vice President on the Board of Playwrights Canada Press.
I have two cats, and they're better than yours. Just try to convince me otherwise.
